I kinda like Tokumatsu’s monsters. They have interesting artwork on them.

The cards shown are based on Hanafuda cards. The first is “Willow”, second is “The Chinese Phoenix by the Paulownia”, third is “The Moon above the Susuki Grass” and the fourth is “The Crane in the Maple Tree” IIRC

Interestingly enough along with the Hanafuda, a lot about Tokumatsu’s design and room points to visual elements associated with the Yakuza. (Hell, Hanafuda are the basis for quite a number of Yakuza tats, and such crime organizations helped popularize the game in Japan.)
